Hello world!

I guess we all do it at some point, so here’s my go at it.

A blog!

My crafting began as a special time just for me…and i imagine to keep my mom from going insane with my audhd lil self while my brother was taking a nap. She would set up the card table in the living room and fill it with crayons, scissors, glue construction paper and let me make things quietly. Mom called it our ‘DEAL’ and she spelled it out. Lord she knew how to teach me things in a sneaky way. btw if you ever want to know how to spell squirrel, call me, I’ll sing it to you like she taught me. The way she taught our neighbor that Madison was the capital of Wisconsin was another of her ingenious ways to on the fly impart knowledge that will last forever. I love her for that.

This little space on the internet will be my lil place to add pictures and blurbs of and about things i make nowadays. It will also be a kind of timeline for me to keep track of things I’ve done and things i want to do in the future. You are more than welcome to read and comment as i go. I hope you enjoy it, or at least get a good chuckle at my failings.
